A SWEET FAMILY PROCESS
Old Scugog Syrup is a family operation, with help from our boys to tap, collect, boil and bottle.

FIRST TAP OF THE SEASON!
The first tap of the season is a big deal in our family ~ usually celebrated with a pizza party that night...and of course some ice cream covered in maple syrup!

COLLECTING
The boys helping to collect sap after school and on weekends. Reese enjoys the ride.

BOILING
We boil our syrup in small batches, with about 3 boils per season.

BOTTLING
Our new bottler makes things so much easier. It's our favorite part!
